Choices for Getting Started: The Basics
Media:
We accept floppy disks, Zip disks (100 and 250 mb), Jaz disk (1 Gb), and CD-ROM.
Page files:
Although most clients use QuarkXpress for Macintosh, we also accept files in page layout format created on a Mac or PC. We accept PDF files, too, but please tell your account rep in advance; we may need time to troubleshoot them.
Fonts:
Please include all of your fonts (PC or Mac). Use only postscript (Adobe) fonts. For italic, bold, and other type styles, choose the font from the “Font” menu, not the “Style” menu.
Images:
Please provide images at 300 as CMYK binary EPS. Avoid compression formats such as LZW or JPEG. We’ll evaluate all images for quality.
